Outlook and Salesforce are connected to capture a copy of emails sent to providers, facilities, hospitals or other IPRO clients allowing for future reference or deliverable reporting. This functionality allows email to be sent directly from Salesforce, leaving an instant copy of the email on the record associated with the Contact, Case, or Account. Sending or receiving email from Outlook, provides the option to send a copy of that email over to Salesforce. Both methods store the email with the associated Contact, Case or Account record.
