Contact Role Characteristics are secondary fields in the ACR Object. These are intended to provide additional information on the relevant Account/Contact Role. This is a multi-picklist field that is used to further striate user roles, inform marketing outreach, and allow for more detailed reporting.
Below is the current list of available choices:

| Caregiver | Contract Role deals more closely with Caregivers |
| Dialysis | Contact Role is related to Dialysis Facilities |
| EQRS | Data Role associated directly with EQRS Data sets |
| E-STAR | Data Role associated directly with E-STAR Data sets |
| Federal | Contact Role is related to a federal/national agency or the US geographic area |
| Kindey | Specialization in Kidney issues, disorders, treatment and health |
| KTxC | Data Role associated directly with KTxC Data sets |
| MDS | Data Role associated directly with MDS Data sets |
| Patient | Contract Role deals more closely with Patients |
| Regional | Contact Role is related to a regional agency or collective geographic area |
| State | Contact Role is related to a state agency or collective geographic area |
| Transplant | Contact Role is related to Transplant Centers or Transplant Facilities |
